Admissions

Redeemer Montessori School Admission Process

Applications may be obtained from the school office and submitted at any time. You may also print a copy online by visiting our Applications page and selecting the appropriate program. This places the child’s name in the waiting pool for consideration when a vacancy arises. We encourage parents of prospective students to make an appointment and tour the school.

Admission Policy

Parents interested in placing their child in the school should first tour Redeemer Montessori School and meet with the Head of School. This meeting is to explain the Montessori philosophy and method; allowing prospective parents to observe the classrooms and see Montessori in action. A completed application form must be submitted to activate a place in the waiting pool.  When space becomes available placement of children from the waiting pool is done according to the following considerations:

  • Original date of application.
  • Sibling in school.
  • Sibling of former students of Redeemer Montessori School.
  • Past Montessori experiences.

Students entering the Children’s House need to be able to use the bathroom independently. Class assignments shall be determined by the Director.  In accordance with the Montessori method, children remain in the same room for 3 years.

Applications are available from the school office and may be submitted at any time. You may also print an application by visiting our Applications page and selecting the appropriate program.
A completed application must be submitted to activate your child’s place in the waiting pool.

Is admission first-come, first-served?

Yes. Admissions are generally handled on a first-come, first-served basis according to the original date of application, subject to classroom availability and the school’s enrollment priorities.

How does the waiting pool work?

Once a completed application is received, your child’s name is placed in the waiting pool. When an appropriate vacancy becomes available, children in the waiting pool are considered for placement.
Placement is based primarily on the original date of application, with additional consideration given to:
Siblings of currently enrolled students
Siblings of former Redeemer Montessori School students

Does submitting an application guarantee enrollment?

No. Submitting an application places your child in the waiting pool but does not guarantee enrollment. Admission depends on available space within the appropriate program and classroom.

How will I know when a space becomes available?

When an appropriate opening becomes available, Redeemer Montessori School will contact your family regarding the opportunity for enrollment and the next steps in the admissions process.

What are the next steps if I am interested in Redeemer Montessori School?

We recommend following these three steps:
Schedule a tour and visit our school.
Visit the Applications page and select the appropriate program.
Submit your completed application to establish your child’s place in the waiting pool.
If you have additional questions about admissions, programs, or availability, please contact the Redeemer Montessori School office.
