Redeemer Montessori School Admission Process
Applications may be obtained from the school office and submitted at any time. You may also print a copy online by visiting our Tuition and Fees page and selecting the appropriate program. This places the child’s name in the waiting pool for consideration when a vacancy arises. We encourage parents of prospective students to make an appointment and tour the school.
Parents interested in placing their child in the school should first tour Redeemer Montessori School with the Director. This meeting is to explain the Montessori philosophy and method; allowing prospective parents to observe the classrooms and see Montessori in action.
A completed application form must be submitted to activate a place in the waiting pool. When space becomes available placement of children from the waiting pool is done according to the following considerations:
- Original date of application.
- Sibling in school.
- Sibling of former students of Redeemer Montessori School.
- Past Montessori experiences.
Students entering the Children’s House need to be able to use the bathroom independently.
Class assignments shall be determined by the Director. In accordance with the Montessori method, children remain in the same room for 3 years.
A minimum of two calendar months written notice must be given before a parent removes a child from Redeemer Montessori School. If such notice is not given, two months tuition will be due prior to release of the child’s student records.
